mIRC is an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) client developed by mIRC Co. Ltd only for Windows platform in 1995. It is one of the first IRC services the internet world to ever get. Through mIRC client the users can share knowledge, communicate, work and play with each other using the IRC networks around the world. It can also be used to transfer files, connect multi-servers and supports the latest IPv6 internet protocol. Through mIRC we can join public channels to communicate with common people around the word or create a private channel just to add people working under a particular organization to conduct secret discussions about their projects. The communications through mIRC can be either by voice chat or messaging, with clear voice spoken messages, message logging and more. Apart from that, it also supports features such as muting a person if the other person is not interested in listening, ignoring, kicking or banning user from a particular channel to revoke access into the channel for that user.
