My Talking Tom 2 is a virtual pet game for Android, iPhone and iPad in which players care for Tom, a cartoon cat, and play with him at home and on trips. Feeding, cleaning and resting are part of his daily routine, while his reactions, toys and pet companions give players other ways to interact with him.
Pet care
Tom needs meals, sleep and help with everyday habits. Players give him snacks, bathe him, brush his teeth and take him to the toilet. They can also tend to him when he gets hurt.
Food also provides opportunities to see how Tom responds. His snacks include ice cream and sushi, and players can mix ingredients into smoothies or offer him a hot chili.
Speaking to Tom makes him repeat the player’s words in his own voice. He also reacts to touch and conversation through expressions and animations, so interacting with him does not require entering a separate activity.
Tom’s skills
Players can teach Tom to play drums, shoot basketball hoops and box. Learning these skills unlocks additional animations, extending what he can do beyond his care routine. A giant swing and trampoline provide other activities around his home.
Tom has smaller pet companions of his own. Players can care for them and play with them, and the pets join his adventures and interact with him.
Plane trips
My Talking Tom 2 lets players use flight tokens to take Tom’s plane to other places. The destinations include Candy Kingdom, Pirate Island, Underwater Home and Alien Planet, with collectibles and surprises to discover during the excursions.
Tom’s backyard can also change into themed worlds as play continues, bringing settings such as Candy Kingdom and Pirate Island into his surroundings at home.
Minigame rewards
The minigames include Space Trails, Sky Race, Dunk-a-Pet and Build Your Plane. Playing them earns coins and unlocks rewards. Other activities can also award snacks and outfits.
Collected clothes change Tom’s appearance, while furniture and decoration items let players change his home. The wardrobe and household items expand as players unlock them through play. On Android, My Talking Tom 2 supports offline play after installation and saves progress automatically.
