Our Approach to Software Safety
When possible, our download links point to the original developer’s source — we do not bundle, repackage, or wrap downloads. We use no third-party installers. Every listing is reviewed before publication, and listings are periodically checked for broken links, abandoned software, and malware reports.
Your Responsibilities
- Run an antivirus and scan downloaded files before installing
- Read installer prompts carefully and decline bundled offers you don’t want
- Keep your operating system updated with security patches
- Download only from reputable sources
- Use strong passwords and two-factor authentication
Reporting Safety Issues
If you discover malware or a compromised link, email [email protected] with subject ‘Safety Report’ including the URL, program name, what you observed, and supporting evidence. We investigate safety reports within 24 hours.
Important Disclaimer
Software is provided ‘as-is’ by its respective developers. MooSoft is a directory — bugs, compatibility problems, data loss, and vulnerabilities in the software are the responsibility of the developer, not MooSoft.
What MooSoft Will Never Do
- Bundle adware or potentially unwanted programs
