Ashampoo App manages Ashampoo software licenses, downloads and updates through a central account. On Windows, it also installs and launches programs from a personal collection. It covers Ashampoo programs and almost all partner products that Ashampoo distributes. The manager itself is free, while individual programs retain their own license terms.
Accounts and product licenses
Signing into an Ashampoo account brings its software licenses into Your Collection. Purchases through the Ashampoo website or app join the account for the email address that the buyer uses at checkout. The collection then provides access to the corresponding programs.
Licenses from other sellers follow a separate route. Activate product accepts a license key and adds that product to the collection. Those purchases do not enter the account automatically. When a key already belongs to an account, its software appears under the original purchase account. The user menu provides Log out for switching to that email address.
The software catalog
Discover and Shop provide access to the software catalog, while a search box accepts product queries. Filters narrow the selection by category, operating system or release date. A product page combines media, an introduction, product information and language details. Its Show in collection button leads to the corresponding entry for software the account already owns.
The catalog also provides purchasing options for additional programs. Alongside individual product pages, the app presents software offers and preorders. Buying through the app adds the resulting license to the account, using the same purchase-email association as the website.
Install, launch and update
Your Collection displays product cards with actions for each program. Install downloads and installs a program from the collection, while Launch opens a program that the user has already installed. The manager also provides access to downloads again when users need another copy.
Automatic updates handle maintenance for the software that the app manages. The app downloads and installs those updates in the background. At startup, it also checks for its own updates and updates itself when necessary.
Help and feature requests
The Help area groups manuals, video tutorials, tips and answers to common product questions. Users can open these resources from the manager while looking for product instructions. A contact form and ticket system provide routes to Ashampoo support for questions that need individual assistance.
Feedback accepts ideas and feature requests. It also shows existing suggestions, which users can support with a thumbs-up vote. Votes give existing requests a higher priority in the feedback system.
Mobile account access
The companion clients for Android and iOS use the name Ashampoo Mobile. They provide access to license keys, software offers and purchasing or unlocking options. Their account tools accompany links to customer service, manuals and common questions. Company news, blog articles and videos provide additional material within the mobile service.
