Overview

Hearthstone Deck Tracker is a Windows companion that tracks cards, manages decks and records Hearthstone matches. The core tracker is free, while optional HSReplay.net subscriptions add analysis tools. Players use its desktop library alongside an overlay that follows the current game.

Following cards during a match

HDT follows cards as players draw, play, return or replace them. Its overlay shows the player’s remaining deck, hand and deck counts, and draw probabilities. Opponent tracking lists cards the opponent reveals and marks how long cards have stayed in their hand.

Holding probabilities use hand and deck counts; they do not identify every hidden card. A turn timer tracks the current turn and each player’s total time. Users can place card lists and timers in separate windows. Counters can appear automatically when relevant, stay visible or remain hidden.

Managing decklists

Hearthstone Deck Tracker imports decks from the game and supported websites, or accepts XML files and card ID strings. Users organize lists with tags, sorting and notes, then export decks or create screenshots for sharing. Deck-code export copies a list for use in Hearthstone.

The library distinguishes the active deck from the selected deck. Use makes a deck active for tracking; selecting another list only opens it for inspection. HDT also attempts automatic deck selection when play starts. An active deck lets the overlay show remaining cards and associate match statistics with that list.

Mulligan guidance

The mulligan guide displays card statistics during the opening-hand decision. Mulligan G-V2 adds contextual keep guidance that considers the hand and changes as the player marks cards for replacement. Opponent class and whether the player goes first also provide context.

HSReplay.net Premium unlocks the guide’s paid functions, with limited trials for free users. The player still chooses which cards to keep.

Arena draft scores

Arenasmith places scores beside choices during Arena and Underground Arena drafts. It relates offered cards to the existing deck and highlights synergies between cards. During redrafts, it scores the deck’s cards and highlights lower scores for comparison.

The assistant supports Premium accounts and limited introductory or recurring trials. Display settings control scores and synergy indicators independently.

Discover card pools

The OutFinder expands cards that Discover or generate other cards into their possible outcomes. Hovering shows the pool with cost, attack and health distributions. Right-clicking a large pool opens its full browser.

Users can choose percentages, counts or a card-list display. Keyword breakdowns and pool filters require Premium access or an applicable trial. The displayed pool describes possible cards rather than guaranteeing the result.

Battlegrounds combat

Bob’s Buddy simulates combat from the current boards and estimates win, tie, loss and lethal probabilities. Unsupported interactions can produce warnings, and the percentages remain estimates. HDT also displays previously observed opponent boards for comparison.

The minion browser filters the available pool by tier, minion type and supported mechanics. Players can pin individual minions or whole types so matching tavern offers receive highlights. Written guides cover heroes, quests, trinkets and compositions.

Tier7 adds statistical overlays for choices such as heroes and trinkets, plus composition data and advanced composition pinning. Limited trials provide access without an ongoing subscription. Individual-minion and minion-type pinning remain free.

Match history

Hearthstone Deck Tracker records results, opponents, game modes and card actions. Per-deck statistics summarize wins and losses against each class, while individual entries show cards the players drew or played. A partial opponent deck can become a new library entry.

Recording settings choose which modes contribute games. Separate display filters control which results appear in statistics and on deck lists. Users can add missing matches manually. Arena views group games into runs and include reward tracking; the Battlegrounds session display follows recent results and rating changes.

Online replays and collection sync

Automatic replay upload can follow separate game-mode settings. Opening a saved replay validates its game log, uploads it when necessary, and opens the resulting HSReplay.net page. Invalid logs cannot produce a valid replay.

Collection syncing requires an HSReplay.net login. Users enable uploads and open their in-game collection; HDT reports whether the collection is current or awaits an update. The connected deck view then uses collection information.

Capturing the overlay

A separate capturable overlay supplies a window source for streaming software. Its configurable background supports chroma-key removal in OBS or XSplit. The capturable window continues displaying its contents when Hearthstone loses focus.

Tracker controls

Game-start and turn-start notifications can flash the tray icon or bring Hearthstone forward. Individual feature switches control the display, and plugin support lets separate extensions add tracker functions.
