Nonogram Crossing Logic Puzzle is a picture puzzle game for Android and iOS from Two Desperados Ltd. Players interpret number clues, uncover pictures and help characters called Nonos through successive chapters. The game is free to download and includes optional in-app purchases and advertising.
Numbers around the picture
Numbers beside rows and above columns describe consecutive groups of squares. Their order matches the groups’ order, with at least one empty square between groups. Players fill squares or mark them with crosses until the board reveals its picture.
Nonogram Crossing’s switch selects the green-square or X action before a tap. Pressing a number holder locks interaction to its row or column. Selecting both limits interaction to their intersection.
Obstacles that change the board
Nonogram Crossing adds obstacles with distinct effects:
- Hedges conceal clues in their row and column; solving adjacent squares can expose more information.
- Frost cracks as players correctly fill neighboring tiles, eventually clearing its layers.
- Slime moves after each tap, while correct adjacent squares shorten it.
- A bubble bursts when the player solves its tile, then solves two random tiles elsewhere.
Bee levels require players to surround the bee with tiles they solve. After each move, it seeks the nearest path to an edge. An escape costs a life. Worm levels instead require players to uncover every segment of the connecting worms.
Boss encounters add further targets. Completing whole rows or columns removes the Hedge Boss’s lives. The Spider Boss covers the switch with webs; X actions remove those layers, while boosters also count as moves.
Boosters, hearts and energy
Nonogram Crossing offers three distinct tile-revealing boosters:
- Shovel reveals one tile that the player chooses.
- Rockets reveal three random tiles.
- Paint Roller reveals a whole row or column that the player chooses.
Daily gifts, missions, achievements and events can supply boosters. Coins can buy boosters, additional lives or energy. Entering a level requires energy, which regenerates over time; optional video ads can provide more.
Normal levels provide three hearts, while No Mistake levels allow only one. Hot Streak rewards consecutive first-attempt wins with bonus coins at checkpoints. A first-attempt failure resets that streak.
Nono Clash turns
Nono Clash adds competition against other players. Each player receives two moves per turn and earns points for correct tiles. A mistake immediately ends the turn and deducts points. Once the players complete the level, the highest score wins.
Chapters, events and progress
Level wins in Nonogram Crossing unlock new chapters, challenges and mini-games. Seasonal events can connect puzzle play with item collection, story progress and rewards. The game also supports offline puzzle play.
The Profile section’s Save Progress control connects Android progress with Google Play Games. On iOS, the corresponding sign-in control saves progress to an account. A device-transfer dialog lets players choose their previous progress or the new device’s current state. Choosing the new state replaces the old progress.
