Overview

TweakNow Snap2PDF is a paid Windows utility for converting images into PDF documents, exporting PDF pages as images, and assembling or dividing existing PDFs. It also adds password protection to PDF files. The application separates these jobs into tabs, with page previews and file lists for choosing the material each operation will use.

Images to PDF

The Images to PDF tab builds a document from a list of pictures. Each entry shows a thumbnail, its dimensions and its file location. You can add or remove images and move them up or down in the list to set their sequence before conversion.

TweakNow Snap2PDF provides output settings for the destination folder, PDF filename, paper size and image quality in DPI. A resize option fits images to the chosen paper size, with a separate setting to smooth edges during resizing. A preview shows the selected picture.

PDF to Images

Conversion also works in the opposite direction. Open a PDF in the PDF to Images tab to see numbered page thumbnails and a larger preview of the selected page. Checkboxes identify the pages to export, so the operation can target particular pages within a longer document.

The export toolbar includes an output-format selector, with JPG available, and a scale control. These settings determine the image format and the scale used when turning the selected PDF pages into separate image files. The output represents the pages themselves, including their text and layout.

Splitting and merging PDFs

The splitter works with page ranges. After opening a PDF, you enter a starting and ending page for each part and can add or remove ranges. Thumbnail views and a page preview help relate those numbers to the document’s contents. This allows a long PDF to be divided at chosen boundaries, such as the beginning and end of a chapter.

The Merge PDF tab handles the reverse task: adding several PDF files and combining them into one document. It displays the source documents as thumbnails with their page ranges, and provides removal controls before the merge. Image conversion is a separate operation; merging works with PDFs already prepared as documents.

PDF passwords

TweakNow Snap2PDF has a dedicated Password Protect tab for adding passwords to PDF files. After adding a file, the password dialog asks for the new password twice before applying it.
