Aiseesoft Video Converter Ultimate is a video and audio conversion application for Windows and Mac. It prepares media files in different formats and combines that work with clip editing, AI video enhancement, audio separation and compression. A conversion job can retain a video’s existing picture and sound settings, or produce an edited file with a different resolution, soundtrack and subtitle presentation.
Converting files with Aiseesoft Video Converter Ultimate
Files enter a conversion list where each item can have its own output format, such as MP4, MKV or MOV. A shared output setting also applies one format to the whole list. Video settings include the encoder, resolution, frame rate, bitrate and quality; audio settings include the encoder, channel arrangement, sample rate and bitrate.
Aiseesoft Video Converter Ultimate also offers remuxing for supported combinations. Remuxing puts the existing media into a different container without encoding it again. Its accelerated mode requires a supported source, an MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV or M4V destination, and settings that match the source. Changing the picture dimensions or other encoding settings calls for a conversion that processes the media instead. Hardware acceleration is available for encoding work.
Cutting, splitting and merging clips
The cutting controls retain a selected time range, with start and end positions entered directly or adjusted using handles. Additional segments preserve several portions of one recording. Fast Split divides a clip by a chosen number of parts or a specified segment duration, while the merger arranges imported clips in the order they should appear in the finished video.
Picture editing
Picture edits address the frame independently of those time selections. Rotation and flipping correct orientation; cropping selects a visible area using common aspect ratios or a freely sized rectangle. Brightness, contrast, saturation and hue controls adjust the picture, with filters available for a broader change in appearance. Text and image watermarks have position, size and opacity controls for placing a label or logo over the result.
Audio tracks
A video’s existing audio track can be selected or replaced with an external file. Volume and delay controls adjust its level and timing. These changes are useful when a replacement soundtrack starts at a different point from the picture, since synchronization can be adjusted before export.
Subtitles
Aiseesoft Video Converter Ultimate imports SRT, SSA and ASS subtitle files. Subtitle controls cover position, font, color, outline and opacity, together with a delay setting for aligning captions with speech.
AI enhancement
The enhancement workspace processes an imported video through a model chosen for the intended change. Its options include general enhancement, noise reduction, upscaling, frame interpolation, black-and-white colorization and conversion from SDR to HDR. Upscaling increases the output dimensions, while frame interpolation creates intermediate frames to change motion presentation.
Before exporting the full video, the preview can show the processed image on its own or compare it with the original. Enhancement exports are separate from simply choosing a larger resolution in the conversion settings.
Vocal separation
The audio tools work with both audio files and video soundtracks. Vocal Isolator analyzes the source to isolate voices and reduce unwanted background noise. Vocal Remover separates vocal material from its background, producing tracks that can be previewed before export. This supports outputs such as a vocal track for further editing or background audio without the lead voice.
The separation window lets the user choose an output format and destination.
Compressing to a target size
The video compressor accepts a target file size and exposes the output format, resolution and bitrate. These controls let the user decide whether a smaller file should also have smaller picture dimensions or a different encoding bitrate. The output is saved as a compressed video file in the selected folder.
Audio compression has its own size slider and settings for format, channels, sample rate and bitrate. It handles sound files directly, so reducing an audio recording does not require creating a video around it.
Movie composition
The MV maker combines footage and pictures into a themed sequence. Individual items can be trimmed or edited, while start and end titles frame the sequence. Its audio options can retain the original soundtrack and add background music, with looping and fades controlling how that music plays across the result.
The collage maker produces a different arrangement: several clips play simultaneously within one frame. Layout divisions can be dragged to resize the areas occupied by the videos. Each clip retains editing controls, and the composition can use original sound or added music. Output format and resolution settings apply when the combined video is exported.
GIF, 3D, speed and metadata tools
For shorter animations, the GIF maker turns selected footage or pictures into an animated GIF, with output dimensions and frame rate controls. The 3D maker produces anaglyph or split-screen stereoscopic video, including side-by-side and top-and-bottom arrangements. Its depth and left/right controls adjust that presentation.
Other tools change playback speed or reverse a selected part of a video. Reversing removes its original sound; a new audio track can be added through the converter. The metadata editor changes descriptive fields and cover artwork in supported media files, while the image converter exports batches of pictures to formats such as JPEG, PNG and BMP.
Trial limits
Aiseesoft Video Converter Ultimate is paid software with a limited free trial. Trial conversion is limited to five minutes per file. Video enhancement provides three-second previews, allows up to 4K resolution and processes tasks one at a time. Vocal isolation and noise removal permit three files per function, while most other trial functions allow five files each. Full access requires a paid license.
