Overview

AMC Security – Phone Protector combines Android storage cleanup with app inspection, privacy controls, and device-maintenance actions. Its scanner works on cached material, residual files, unused APK packages, large files, running tasks, and privacy records. Storage analysis identifies installed apps and APKs that may no longer be needed, while Notification Cleaner collects notices for review. These actions remove selected data or stop selected processes; they do not increase the phone’s physical memory or replace Android’s own security updates.

Scan and clean

One Tap Scan groups large files, residual files, and APKs into separate cleanup categories. The user chooses which items to remove.

App Manager lists installed applications and stored APK files. It can remove APKs in batches, uninstall multiple apps, and move supported apps to an SD card. App Manager moves only eligible apps; it does not override Android’s storage restrictions.

The Boost control stops memory-heavy processes, and Hibernate targets apps that start themselves when unused. Android can reload a stopped task immediately when the system or another app needs it. A lower process count after Boost is therefore temporary, not newly created RAM. Auto Boost can run when the screen turns off or at selected intervals, but an Ignore List is necessary for apps that must keep background work active.

Security modules

AMC Security – Phone Protector has Fast Scan and Deep Scan modes for applications and SD-card contents. The settings page lets the user switch Install Protection separately, and the detection database has its own update control. Payment Guard checks for copycat payment apps. Surfing Guard and Anti-Phishing compare destinations with cloud-supplied threat information before displaying a warning.

Privacy Advisor groups installed apps by sensitive access, covering location, identity information, contacts, messages, and phone calls. It exposes permissions for review but does not establish malicious intent by itself. Privacy Locker hides selected photographs, videos, files, contacts, and messages behind a password. The setup asks for a security question and an email binding; skipping recovery preparation makes a forgotten Locker password harder to resolve.

Anti-Theft uses an AMC Security account for remote actions. The owner can request location, an alarm, device locking, or data wiping. Device-administrator access protects the module from casual removal. Remote wiping deletes device data.

Manual exceptions

Game Speeder launches selected games through its own list. Automatic detection does not recognize every installed game. The user must add missing titles with the plus button. AMC Security – Phone Protector also requires individual choices for notification, battery, and call controls. Four call and message block modes can use a blacklist or non-contact rule, and an incorrect mode can hide communication that the owner expected to receive.

Home-screen widgets start a scan, show system information, or choose a battery mode without opening the main screen. AMC Security – Phone Protector cannot create those widgets when Android has installed it on the SD card. An account can carry eligible paid access across several devices.
