EaseUS PDF Editor changes the contents and structure of a PDF rather than merely displaying it. EaseUS PDF Editor can edit text, replace images, change links, rearrange pages, add form fields, and alter document security.
A scanned page needs OCR before text editing
A scan can look like a page of text while storing only a page-sized image. EaseUS PDF Editor uses OCR to turn that image into editable content. The OCR command can process the complete document or a selected page range, and the user selects the recognition language before it runs.
The two passwords control different actions
An open password blocks access until the reader enters it. A permission password lets the file open but can restrict printing or editing. EaseUS PDF Editor does not allow both password fields to contain the same value.
Removing security requires the relevant credential. EaseUS PDF Editor cannot remove a forgotten permission password, and a changed password or restriction does not take effect until the user saves the document.
Extract and Split do not perform the same page operation
Extract creates another PDF from a page range. Split produces several files according to a page count, a file-size limit, or top-level bookmarks. Neither command describes a simple page deletion, so the chosen output folder can contain new documents while the opened source remains intact.
