App Lock in VIPRE Android Security puts selected applications behind an additional authentication check, with fingerprint access supported. Smart Unlock can allow access on a trusted network. The network can therefore serve as an exception to the app’s locking rule.
VIPRE also provides remote controls when the phone is missing. Its Anti-Theft functions use Android’s device-administrator permission:

Web protection and chat-link protection examine harmful destinations encountered while browsing or received through conversations. Chat protection checks links arriving in messages. These protections and App Anomaly Detection use Android’s Accessibility permission to carry out their checks.
Account Privacy checks email accounts for exposure in data breaches. Its findings concern information associated with an email address that may have been exposed by a service.
