All My Movies is a Windows movie catalog for keeping track of DVDs, Blu-ray discs, video files and television series. It combines film descriptions with records of where each copy is stored and whether you have watched it. The collection stays on your computer and can be browsed offline after its details have been retrieved.
Movie Lookup
Entering a title starts an online lookup. When several films match, All My Movies shows results with posters and years so you can choose the right one. The resulting card contains the plot, cast and roles, director, genres and cover image; you can correct the imported details.
For boxed discs, you can enter a UPC/EAN barcode, scan it with a USB reader or hold it up to a webcam. The barcode lookup identifies the title and year, which are then used to retrieve the full film record. Batch mode collects codes before looking them up together. An unknown barcode can be bypassed by adding the title instead.
Episode Scanning
All My Movies scans a selected folder and its subfolders for video files. You choose whether titles come from file names or folder names, exclude samples and trailers, and review the results before adding them. A titles-only option stores names and paths without retrieving film details immediately.
Episode names such as S02E05 let the scanner group files under a series card with seasons and episodes. This keeps an episodic collection together rather than listing every file as a separate film. Linked videos can also be played from the catalog.
Disc Tracking
Movie cards hold media type, location, label and file path alongside personal comments. Seen and Wishlist marks feed quick filters, while searches can use the title, director, cast, genre or synopsis.
When you lend a disc, All My Movies records the borrower and calculates a due date from the lending period. Loan and overdue filters show what is still out, and returning the disc updates its status. The loan history retains the lending, due and return dates.
Catalog Exports
Exports follow the current filter, so a subset of the collection can become an HTML catalog, spreadsheet or PDF report. HTML templates include covers and an option with instant search. Excel and text exports let you choose fields, their order and sorting; comma-separated text provides a CSV output.
Catalog Licensing
The unrestricted trial lasts 30 days. Afterwards, free mode allows adding and editing in collections of up to 100 movies. Larger collections remain readable, searchable, printable and exportable, but adding or editing requires a license. Drive scanning and other bulk imports also require a license or an active trial.
