Corel PDF Fusion assembles pages from PDFs, office documents, images, and many older file types into a new document. It opens the source files, shows their pages, and lets the user copy chosen pages into a target document before saving the result as PDF, XPS, DOC, or PNG. This differs from printing several files to PDF: the user can inspect, reorder, rotate, crop, annotate, or remove individual pages before creating the output.
Three document views
Page View concentrates on one page and exposes text, annotation, crop, bookmark, link, and redaction controls. Flick View moves through a document like a stack of pages. Assembly View displays open documents as rows of thumbnails and keeps one target document at the top. Each view changes the workspace rather than the underlying file until the user saves.
Corel PDF Fusion treats the target designation as an important choice. Source rows remain below it, and a dragged page normally joins the target. Pages can also move between visible source documents. If the wrong document becomes the target, a later drag may build the intended packet inside the wrong file, so the title above the fixed top row deserves a check before a long assembly session.
Build with pages
Assembly View can copy, paste, delete, extract, rotate, and reorder selected pages. It can insert an empty page and combine material that came from different formats. Corel PDF Fusion converts those sources into page representations, so the final PDF does not require the programs that originally created every spreadsheet, slide, or legacy document.
That conversion is page-oriented. It does not preserve every original editing model. A spreadsheet formula, presentation transition, or embedded object may appear correctly on the page without remaining editable as the original object. The saved output should be checked for layout, fonts, and graphics before the source applications or files are discarded.
Correct one line
Selecting text reveals the Correct selected text command. Corel PDF Fusion replaces the selection and generally retains the existing font and size, which works for short corrections. The editor reflows only one line and has no word wrap. Replacement text that grows past the available line can reach the page edge and become clipped.
Text correction also depends on the PDF’s security permissions. A protected document can allow viewing while blocking editing. Free Text is a different object: it adds an annotation anywhere on the page. The user can leave that annotation separate for later editing or flatten it into the page. Flattening makes the addition part of the output and removes the same easy annotation-level editing path.
Redact before sharing
Corel PDF Fusion can mark selected text for redaction or find repeated text before applying redactions. It can also add comments, underlines, strikeouts, links, bookmarks, and watermarks. A visual black rectangle is not automatically the same as a completed redaction. The distribution copy must contain the applied redaction rather than an editable overlay that still leaves the original text underneath.
Password and permission settings can restrict opening, printing, copying, commenting, or editing. These controls depend on the recipient’s PDF program honoring the restrictions. They do not replace removing sensitive content from the page. A password also needs a separate delivery method; putting it in the same email as the protected file weakens the intended separation.
Choose an output setup
Save As uses named setups for general business output, print work, web viewing, or PDF/A archiving. The standard setups stay fixed. Corel PDF Fusion asks the user to save a changed standard setup under a new name rather than altering it in place. Compression can reduce size, while JPEG compression discards image data and ZIP compression retains it.
The separate batch converter handles several documents together. Output from an unregistered or trial state can carry a watermark, and buying a serial number later does not remove a watermark already written into an earlier file. The user must reopen the source and create a new output after activation if a clean distribution copy is required.
