CraveInvoice is commercial billing, inventory and accounting software for Windows desktops and web browsers, with free trials. It connects customer sales, supplier purchases and financial records. The desktop ERP edition adds manufacturing, payroll and project management.
From quotation to invoice
Users choose a customer, add goods or services, and specify quantities, prices and discounts. CraveInvoice calculates taxes and totals, then posts invoices to stock and accounts. Quotations convert into orders and invoices with their existing details. Several orders or delivery notes can feed one invoice.
Templates control invoice appearance, including logos and terms. Users print on A4 or thermal paper, email PDFs, or share invoices through WhatsApp. Service billing supports recurring invoices. Customer statements and ageing reports show outstanding amounts; payment entries record receipts against invoices.
Supplier purchasing
Purchase orders track buying from approval through delivery. Users record stock receipts and inspect incoming goods, then track supplier bills and payments. Purchases update inventory and accounts. Supplier statements and ageing reports expose outstanding bills, while purchase returns record goods going back.
Stock by warehouse
CraveInvoice maintains quantities across warehouses and records transfers, adjustments, sales and returns. Items can carry batch numbers, expiry dates or individual serial numbers. Reorder levels trigger low-stock alerts.
Barcode scanning selects items during billing, and label printing creates product barcodes. Stock reports show quantities, movements and valuations. A stock ledger follows transactions, while warehouse reports separate inventory by location.
Financial books
Sales, purchases, receipts and payments create double-entry postings in the general ledger. Users maintain accounts, record expenses and reconcile bank statements against bank journals. Multiple currencies support international transactions.
Trial balances, profit-and-loss statements and balance sheets draw on those records. Indian tax tools calculate CGST, SGST and IGST, associate HSN or SAC codes with items, and produce GST returns. Cloud e-invoice and e-way bill functions require the India-specific add-on; international plans exclude GST features.
Retail checkout
The POS screen combines barcode billing, payment collection and receipt printing. Each sale updates stock and accounts. Cashiers can hold an invoice or divide payment between cash, card and finance. Daily, item and cashier reports summarize counter sales.
Manufacturing orders
In ERP, users define a bill of materials with each product’s components and costs, then schedule production orders. Job cards track shop-floor work and machine usage. Production entries consume raw materials and add finished goods to stock.
Work-in-progress tracking follows unfinished output. Shortage reports identify missing raw materials, and quality checks cover production and stock returns. Batch production entries also record waste and reuse quantities.
Payroll records
ERP payroll tracks attendance, wages, salary payments, leave and employee advances. Users import attendance or hourly records, or record employee payments manually. Payroll worksheets specify the period and total days. Benefits and deductions feed payroll records, which connect with accounting. Reports include monthly attendance and salary summaries.
Project costing
Project records combine items and costing details with time, expenses and resources. Users select a project on sales orders, invoices, delivery notes and journals. Delivery and issue forms then restrict item choices to that project. History, allocation and status reports follow its related activity.
Ask the cloud assistant
CraveInvoice’s optional AI assistant answers questions about stock, prices, customer dues and supplier bills within the current company and financial year. Users describe a quotation, tax invoice, sales order or proforma. The assistant retrieves customers, items, rates and taxes, asking for clarification when customer names overlap.
Fill form opens the draft in its matching screen; Save now validates and saves it directly. The assistant also drafts overdue-payment emails with optional statement PDFs and WhatsApp links. It cannot edit existing records, draft purchases or send documents independently. Mobile access excludes AI tax-invoice drafts.
Desktop licenses and cloud plans
The Windows desktop stores data locally, works offline and creates automatic local backups. CraveWeb runs in desktop and mobile browsers with shared live data and automatic online backups. User roles restrict access, and an accountant login provides read-only access.
