Minion Masters is BetaDwarf’s free-to-play card strategy game for Windows, macOS, Android, and Xbox consoles. Players build decks, summon creatures, and cast spells during real-time arena battles. The game offers individual duels, team matches, and solo modes, with optional purchases for content and account upgrades.
Cards and mana
Each player brings a Master and a deck of ten cards containing minions, spells, or buildings. Playing a card spends mana, which regenerates during the battle. Players choose when to commit that resource and where to place their minions on their own side of the arena.
After deployment, minions advance toward the opponent automatically. Players cannot steer them individually, so placement determines how they enter the fight. The objective involves destroying the opposing Master’s tower. Spell cards intervene directly through effects such as healing, stunning enemies, or taking control of opposing units.
Hold the bridges
Two bridges connect the opposing sides of the battlefield. Capturing and holding them generates experience for the Master. As the Master gains levels, Minion Masters unlocks powers that change the options available during that match.
The choice of Master also shapes deck construction. Players can combine swarms, large creatures, or control spells with a Master’s particular abilities. Alternative perks let players replace existing Master powers with different abilities. They can choose these alternatives while building a deck or change their selection during battle before they obtain that perk.
Duels or teams
Ranked duels pit one player’s deck against another. In two-player teams, friends or random partners combine their decks against an opposing pair. Players can also challenge friends through private matches. Guilds provide another place to find other players and organize cooperative play.
Minion Masters tracks seasonal ranked rewards across its ranked modes. Players can advance the shared reward track through their preferred ranked mode, but each reward allows only one claim. Team play also supports progression toward Contender rank.
Different battle rules
Draft changes how players assemble a deck. Instead of entering with their usual collection choices, players construct a deck from random card selections. The Master that players choose determines which faction pools supply those choices. They then face other Draft players, earning better rewards as their wins increase. Three defeats end the run.
Mayhem changes the game rules each week. Players enter battles under that week’s conditions rather than the ordinary match rules. Solo Adventures move the card battles into stories about the game’s factions and their conflicts, offering a separate single-player route.
Growing a collection
Minion Masters lets players earn cards through play, craft particular cards, or receive random cards through rewards. Shards serve as crafting resources for specific cards and Masters. Power Tokens produce random cards. Collection search matches both card titles and descriptions when players look for cards to use.
Daily quests award gold and Season Pass experience. The free Season Pass track supplies specific new cards without a random draw. Promoting cards also grants resources and increases their Glory contribution. Winning matches with those cards contributes Glory toward Season Pass progress.
Practice and replays
Practice mode accepts a player’s deck and offers a choice of bot difficulty. Players can practice alone or as a team against computer opponents. This mode supports trying a deck outside competitive matchmaking.
The game also keeps match replays so players can watch previous battles. When the replay collection overflows, Minion Masters removes its oldest recordings first.
Paid account upgrades
The All Masters Upgrade unlocks every current Master and future additions to that roster. It supplements the base game rather than providing a separate client.
The Premium Upgrade increases gold and experience rewards from wins. It also adds rubies, crafting shards, Power Tokens, and extra deck slots to the account. Players can purchase this upgrade once per account. A paid Season Pass provides another route to additional rewards alongside the free track.
Appearance and shared progress
Players can choose character skins, arena appearances, and emotes for personalization. Cross-platform play connects opponents across the game’s supported platforms. PC and Android cross-save also lets players carry their progress between those clients.
