Overview

Nicepage is a visual website builder from Artisteer Limited for Windows, macOS and web browsers. It creates HTML websites and designs for WordPress and Joomla, with separate extensions for editing inside those systems. A free Starter plan provides core tools, while paid plans expand design, export and online services.

Building pages with blocks

A Nicepage project can start with a blank page or a template. You add blocks for sections such as introductions, contact details or galleries, then place text, images and other elements inside them. The navigator lets you duplicate, delete and reorder blocks.

Within a block, you can drag elements into position and align them with snapping guides. Grids divide a section into cells for related images and text. You can replace images from a local folder, change their crop or switch a cell between image and color backgrounds.

The Property Panel changes with the page, block, container or element that you choose. It controls coordinates, spacing, backgrounds, borders and shadows. Theme settings supply shared colors, fonts and text styles, while header and footer settings define common site sections.

Responsive device views

Nicepage automatically creates responsive views, including desktop, tablet and phone layouts. Grid cells can rearrange when the available screen space becomes smaller. Switching device modes shows the corresponding layout in the editor.

You can then change font sizes, margins and image crops for individual views. Visibility settings hide or show elements and cells in particular modes. Reset Responsive restores the automatic responsive layout for a block. Large-screen and laptop modes provide further views beyond the usual mobile layouts.

From a topic to an AI design

The AI Page Builder accepts a site topic and an optional detailed description. You can also supply images for the design. Nicepage presents page ideas that you can browse and preview before adding one to the site.

The resulting page opens in the regular editor, where you can change its text, images and layout. Related AI tools generate block and text ideas or personalize existing design content around a topic.

Contact forms and their destinations

You add a contact form to a block, insert its fields and arrange their positions. Nicepage lets you change field types, labels and styling through the editor and Property Panel. The Submit To setting determines where the visitor’s data goes.

Destinations include email notifications, the site’s Leads table, Google Sheets, a custom URL and server scripts. WordPress can use Contact Form 7, while Joomla can use its own mail functions. Nicepage’s form service has plan-dependent submission allowances. The Leads page shows submission data in a table, with links to files that visitors upload.

Blog posts and product pages

Nicepage maintains blog posts with titles, body content and featured images. A Blog Posts element displays them within a page block, while the Post Template controls individual post layouts. HTML export can include the blog and its posts alongside the rest of the website.

For a store, you add products and arrange their images in the Products panel. Product List and Product Details elements display either Nicepage’s product data or products from the target CMS. Product buttons can open detail pages or a payment popup, and a cart icon enables shopping-cart functions.

Payment connections include PayPal and Stripe. Export options can include product data and store templates. WordPress store imports need WooCommerce, while Joomla store imports need VirtueMart.

HTML output and CMS themes

Nicepage can publish a desktop or browser project to its hosting service. The publishing dialog also manages the site’s domain and unpublishing. Paid plans provide custom-domain connections.

HTML export produces the site’s HTML, CSS, JavaScript and image files. The desktop application can write them to a folder, create a ZIP or upload through FTP. FTP requires the server credentials and remote directory. The Online Builder provides ZIP export, while folder and FTP export remain desktop functions.

WordPress export can contain a theme and its page content. Joomla export similarly supplies templates and articles. Nicepage opens its own projects for further design work; it cannot import an arbitrary HTML website back into the editor.

Editing through the CMS

The WordPress plugin opens Nicepage’s editor inside WordPress. Choosing Plugin as the Site Style source lets it control site colors, fonts, headers, footers and templates. Theme mode keeps changes within Nicepage pages.

The Joomla extension creates and edits articles inside Joomla. Its standalone download supplies the editor; a desktop export can also supply articles. Personal plans add WordPress design access, Business adds Joomla, and Pro or Ultimate enables WooCommerce and VirtueMart exports.

Collaborator roles

Nicepage’s User Management invites collaborators by email and assigns Designer, Content Editor, Content Viewer or Data Manager roles. Those roles determine access to layouts, content or site data. Desktop projects need publication before collaborators can access them online, and editing collaborators need at least a Business plan.

When one person edits a page, Nicepage gives other users read-only access. Force Edit can transfer editing control to another user. Site settings also allow only one editor at a time.
