Gacha Club combines a character designer, a scene builder and a collection battle game. The character editor changes clothing, hair, facial parts, colors, poses and accessories without altering a photograph or a three-dimensional model. Studio mode then places those characters against backgrounds with props and speech boxes. On mobile, a separate battle side uses collected units, upgrade materials and mini-games.
Characters use slots
Gacha Club separates ten main characters from ninety extra character slots. Each slot stores one design with its own profile, pose, colors and equipped items. Editing a slot changes that character wherever the saved design is selected; it does not create a second copy unless the user places the design in another slot.
The editor has hundreds of poses and many adjustable parts. Color changes can apply to clothing, hair, eyes, outlines and accessories. Because several controls affect overlapping layers, an item can appear missing when another part covers it or when its color closely matches the background.
Studio builds still scenes
Studio mode arranges up to ten characters in one scene. Pets, objects, foregrounds and backgrounds fill the frame, while custom text boxes and a narrator line carry dialogue. Gacha Club can save a set of scenes for later editing.
A scene is a composed still image, not an automatically animated episode. Moving a character between several story moments requires separate scenes and manual image capture. The order of characters and props also matters because an object on the wrong layer can hide a face or appear behind the intended subject.
Mobile adds battles
The full mobile game has collectible units and pets alongside the creator. Story and Tower modes use a party assembled from those units. Gems, gold and materials raise skill levels or awaken a unit, while mini-games award more currency for the collection system.
Character customization and battle units are related themes but different records. Dressing a custom character does not turn that design into a stronger combat unit. Progress in battle comes through the unit roster and its upgrade materials rather than the clothing selected in the creator.
Desktop has limits
The official Windows download is a Studio demo. It contains customization and scene creation, but it leaves out the mobile edition’s gacha units, battles and mini-games. A user moving from mobile should not expect the desktop build to reproduce the full game.
Accounts cannot transfer between the Windows and Android editions. Online import and export are also unavailable in the desktop demo. A character designed on one platform therefore may need to be recreated on the other rather than recovered through an account sign-in.
Offline still saves locally
Gacha Club can run its mobile activities without Wi-Fi. Offline play removes the need for a continuous game server, but it also makes local storage important. Removing app data or uninstalling without a usable transfer path can remove locally held designs and progress.
The store declaration says the mobile app does not collect or share user data. That does not turn local saves into a cloud backup. Before resetting a device, the user should confirm which export or transfer controls actually work in the installed edition instead of assuming that an account name will restore every slot.
Lag needs a restart
The publisher warns that older devices and screens with very high resolution may lag. Long editing sessions can also slow down, and the stated first step is to restart the game. Reducing scene complexity can help distinguish a heavy composition from a broader device problem.
Available storage matters when glitches appear. Freeing space does not repair a damaged save, but it gives the game room to write its local data. Gacha Club contains advertising on mobile even though customization has no in-app purchases, so an advertisement should not be mistaken for an item or import control.
