Reg Organizer combines monitored program removal, startup control, registry work and disk cleanup. Each area changes a different Windows object. An uninstall trace differs from a registry key. Startup entries and cleanup masks follow their own controls. Reg Organizer can record an installation and later use that record during removal, but it does not recreate an untracked history after the fact.
Tracking starts before the installer runs
Program tracking takes a Registry snapshot before setup. During installation, it watches file-system changes. A later comparison reads the Registry state after setup. The resulting log gives Full Uninstall a record of what changed. It can also identify bundled programs installed alongside the main product and place them in the removal review.
Full Uninstall first runs the program’s standard uninstaller, then searches for remaining file and Registry traces. If removal requires a restart, the trace search can continue after reboot. Before deletion, the preview lets the user keep selected files or Registry parameters.
Reg Organizer can scan more deeply after removing a program that it did not track. ChemTable states that this path is less effective than removal based on a recorded installation log.
Undo depends on material that still exists
The Undoing Changes Center retains backups for supported cleanup and uninstall actions. File-system traces also go to the Windows Recycle Bin. Emptying the Recycle Bin destroys the file copies needed for that part of recovery.
Restoring removed traces does not reinstall the removed program. The documented recovery sequence restores the traces and then reinstalls the program. Undo therefore depends on both retained backup material and a separate installer.
Startup objects do not share one set of controls
The startup view reads entries from the Registry and Startup folder. It also reads Task Scheduler. Its All view exposes services alongside drivers. Reg Organizer can activate or deactivate services and drivers. Reg Organizer also exposes a suspension control for services and drivers. Services and drivers do not accept a user-defined suspension delay.
Viewing a REG file is not importing it
The Registry Editor displays a key tree and a values list. Registry Search and Replace searches key names and value data. Other commands can clone or export keys. Separate controls handle import and bookmarks.
The REG viewer presents the external file as a Registry tree before any import. Reg Organizer can edit keys and parameters inside the file, while a separate command applies its contents. ChemTable describes direct Registry editing as work for users who understand the data they are changing.
Custom cleanup definitions act like deletion instructions
Community cleanup extends the built-in routines through Winapp2-format definitions. A user can add FileKey and RegKey entries to custom.ini inside the Reg Organizer profile data. File rules can use masks with an option that recurses through folders. Another option removes the matched folder itself.
A broad mask or an incorrect Registry path can remove data that Windows or another program needs. ChemTable warns that dangerous categories and bad definitions can leave a system unable to start. Custom cleanup definitions therefore require exact paths and a clear understanding of every selected target.
