GeminiMan WearOS Manager is a free Android app for managing a Wear OS watch from a phone through Wi-Fi ADB. GeminiMan also supplies a watch companion that reports connection details and can keep the display awake. Optional support purchases leave all functions available without payment, and the app contains no advertising.
Connecting the phone and watch
The watch companion displays its IP address and an activity log. On the phone, the Manager screen provides watch-address and connection controls. Connect starts the ADB connection, while activity messages report which operations succeed or fail. The watch must allow ADB debugging and Wireless Debugging where its platform requires them.
GeminiMan WearOS Manager shares its ADB runtime between the management tools and Logcat. Available operations depend on the watch manufacturer, Wear OS version and device configuration.
Changing apps on the watch
The app list shows names, package information and icons for applications on the watch. You choose an application and a management action, or apply bulk operations to several entries. GeminiMan WearOS Manager can perform these actions:
- Install APK files, multi-APK packages, APKS archives and compatible ZIP packages.
- Uninstall or reinstall packages, or disable and enable applications.
- Force-stop an application, clear its data or launch it.
- Export APKs from the watch, including archives for applications with multiple APKs.
These package controls operate through the watch’s ADB connection. The phone supplies the interface and file input for sideloading.
Backups and file transfers
GeminiMan WearOS Manager backs up multiple applications and lets you choose backup names and locations. An automation setting can copy each new backup to the phone’s Downloads folder. Android and Wear OS backup restrictions determine which restore operations can run.
File tools also push files to the watch and pull files back to the phone. Pull can retrieve APKs, logs and screen recordings. Preference-list import and export move the app-management selections that you keep for reuse.
Commands you can reuse
The shell tools accept your own ADB shell commands alongside the app’s package-management controls. You can run a command directly, save it and load it again for later operations.
Collecting Logcat output
GeminiMan WearOS Manager starts and stops Logcat capture from the phone. Custom filters narrow the output for troubleshooting. You can save a log for later review, load a previous log or clear the output in the capture view. The log data helps investigate watch crashes and application problems.
Recording the watch screen
The screen recorder captures the watch display through ADB and retrieves the video afterward. The watch companion can keep its display awake during the session.
